Whether we are conscious of it or not, the landscape of this country is a subliminal part of our American identity. This body of work is result of a dichotic experience in an iconic American landscape: Antelope Canyon in Page, Arizona.

In this work, I am interested in exploring the processes of erosion and geological layering of time, consumption of nature and sense of self. Besides the pieces form and texture echoing the canyon walls of the American Southwest, I hope they also conjure feelings of use/misuse and comfort/pain.
