I will always love making pieces of art that people can use and enjoy. I am trained in functional ware through the Cardew, Piker, McCluteon lineage. I like to use traditional forms with my own spin on surface decoration. I use a combination of slips, glazes, wax and colorants in a cone ten soda firing with a heavy reduction to get desired results.
